Thanks for the feedback. Most of you thought that i should have cropped on the right side and just show the window sil instead of including the outside of the house. i left it because i was afraid that you may not be able to tell it was a window. i did go back and crop it. you were right, i like it better that way too! Thanks.

Very interesting approach. Love the brightness of the tattoo the best.

I like the interest in the window! would have cropped at the window's edge on the right and left space on the left so as to put his elbow on the "thirds". But you put his face on the third which is ok too. Extra points for originality...

Good picture. The reflection in the mirror is a nice addition.

Unfortunate tattoo. Took me a while to realize you were talking about the cigars. The bright colors of the arm really grab your attention.

I like this candid, the relaxation comes out of the photo to me. I am not sure I like the OOF on the brick to the right - in some ways you don't want it to take away from the photo either.

I loved cigars, back when I smoked. I can smell these still.
But there's a lot more to love here than memories. Very interesting & effective use of the window frame motif; great character in the tattoo and the earring; nice visual complexity in the reflected (?) secondary subject. There's something both comfortable and comforting about this photograph .. as if they are quietly saying "screw fashion and convention; we smoke cigars." Or you're saying it for them, which is even more pleasing. 8.

a shift of camera position to the left would have given a little more dimension to tatoo guys face, but then you loose the other smoker guy. So, i think you did the right thing.

May have been a more complete shot if you could see the brick around the bottom and left of the window. Just feels cut off weird. Beyond that, good color and sharpness on the man in front.

At first I thought the orange siding on the right might be a distraction, but then I covered it with my hand. And you know what? I really felt like something was missing. Good call on including it.

This is good. I like the timing and angle it's shot from.
I am wondering though if it would be better to crop the wall off from top and right .. maybe you left them in for a very good reason ..
Nice work.
