Great, I like that the eye is focused towards you. The kind-of-hard-to-see claw looks good, too.
Good job! |

I wish there was more green to set off the red. |

Excellent detail and colour.
I tend to 'read' images left to right (as do many people who are brought up with left-right written language). I wonder if this would have more impact if it was flipped alond the horizontal axis? |

fits the challenge background distracting
im guessing this is in daylight so the lighting is perhaps not like you wnated it could have addes some to make the feathers more fluffy but its tough to work with animals. try boosting contrast and see what happens. |

The red is very vibrant, however I think it is a little overpowering for this challenge as the green is not a great shade and this challenge is all about colours. I do love birds and I do love nature shots and this is a nice photo, however I don't think it is a great photo for this challenge. |

Good depth of field. The claw is a bit distracting - but it could just be that I'm not a big fan of birds. |

4 - Perhaps a different perspective/angle to 'use' this birds unusual coloring(s), especially against the green background, may have given this extra and accentuated the green/red color scheme (or possibly even blue/yellow with the feathers, who knows), in my opinion. This must be a Scottish parrot. |

Very strong red, but not enough green..... |

nice, but the light is really harsh and the front of his bottom beak is really quite dark...colours are great |
