I don't mind the lighting -- I wouldn't want to eat a dull piece of produce. I think it's brilliant, and I'm sorry you got such a low score.

Food photography is quite tough as I know you've found out in this shot. The lighting has created harsh highlights on the tomato. Parts of the burger in shade is nicely done but the ones in full sun is a tough one.

Looks suitably mouth watering, but the reflections on the tomato are a bit distracting.

Damn, now I'm hungry!!! Very clever concept for complementary colours and you executed it very well. Best part about this challenge for you would of been being able to eat your submission after the shot. Well done. 8

lighting seems off to me I think that the green is giving it a color cast that just doesn't work. The corner of the bun is blown

4 - Fairly good food shot. More green and red top/bottom, if you had it, may have given this a little extra in my opinion, not sure.

great idea for the challenge...it's dinner time here and this has made me hungry! it looks succulent...you have captured this well...there are a few distractions like the shadow on the left and there is some slight camera movement, but nice work
