| I'm not sure that the waxy texture of the leaf is helping this image or not...but I know it's not the focal point, it's just so distracting. |

very good focus and colors match the theme and are at the main focus of the photo.
title fits the photo
the green is a bit dark though perhaps its like that too not disract the viewer?

| One of the reasons I didn't enter this challenge was because I was not creative enough to think of a picture that exhibited complementary colors and didn't involve a flower... I see that you too have failed at at least one of these, but a nice picture none-the-less. 7 |

| 4 - Quite a nice close up of what appears to be an African Violet, however the leaf is competing too much both color and focal-wise, in my opinion. |

| I really feel you have a great potential for a stunning shot here. The thing that is really turning me off though is the green background, it makes the purple seem too flat. I would suggest sniping this little guy and putting it in front of a white, black or even yellow background and you'd have an explosive image. I give this a 6. |
