I thank you for your comment .
But I don't believe there was any backlash from the voters here, because this is not my usual type of shot for one and also I am not that well known here .
I think it got crushed for 3 reasons.
1) The chessy backdrop,which I will never use again! LOL
2) The funky lighting which was an experiment,I lighted the front girls face with a goldreflector from a ceiling light and the angel in the back had two stropes with umbrellas covered in off white sheets . It all came out pretty much as I had planned ,I just did not have enough room to get back far enough to get the DOF to where I wanted it .
3)The title seemed to confuse some commenters ,there was no story behind the shot ,nor was I trying to make a statement.
It was just me spending good time with my family and all of us having fun with my hobby and that is what we came up with nothing more .

| There is a lot pure crap that the voters selected above this clearly superior image. I do not understand their obstinate stupidity! I can only think that there was a backlash against the obvious polish and perfection of this entry. |

| 3 - Colors are quite nice. Think I get the concept, but not sure you've quite achieved it. Perhaps choice of clothing, attention to minor details like nail polish, etc and trying to create more 'fantasy' via more OOF, who knows, may have made this better in my opinion. Ultimately, for a viewer looking at this, especially 'quickly' during a Challenge, likely won't hold their attention nor hold the same meaning, as it may have for you - in my opinion. |

| interesting...you obviously went to a bit of trouble, so A for effort, but the shot is not really well lit, particularly the girl at the front...I like the dof |

| Love your idea, the background seems a tad over exposed, did you use a photo for the back drop? Also, there seems to be a vertical line that keeps distracting my eye. I do love your yellow and purple tones. Attractive model helps out too. ;-) |
