the shallow DOF works well. bright colors give a vibrant feeling. The border does not take away from the image but I don't think it adds. top 10 probably

The colors are great, but I can't tell what they should be naturally - the positive doesn't look much like a positive.

Oh my - this looks like one of those heat sensor pictures! I'm amazed at how you managed those colours in a negative. Highly effective though and good composition, although I'm not keen on the white halo-ing effect around some of the flower heads.
