 Woohoo for last minute! Woohoo for having catered a party which left me with a giant bag of M&Ms on hand. Boo for the cat knocking the other glass full of M&Ms onto the floor, shattering it and scattering M&Ms everywhere!

No light tent. Shot two lights into umbrellas and used a piece of posterboard for the background. I'm still learning about reflections too. The two lights plus multiple windows in my "studio" room are killer. I've been collecting bits of foamcore from the throw away pile at work and will eventually construct a makeshift light tent.

And I would be glad to dump the upper 80s for..say...some 90s!

LOL! You crack me up. I *so* understand the whole cat knocking things over bit. But gotta love 'em anyway. Yeah, may need more cowbell, but this works nicely in it's simplicity. Light tent? I have no idea how to avoid reflections with glass. And really, can you be a little less consistent in your mid to upper 80% placement each time?

Wonder if you get same beating for having lots of white space as I do. I admit, it sort of looks like an ad page without a slogan, but very crisp shot. Is there anything you can do to give more definition to the edges of the glass?

a bit too much dead space.

Good use of negative space, but probably a bit too much space on the right. You might try this as a square crop, leaving the left, top and bottom as is and cutting off at the right.

I think that a closer picture of the full glass would have expressed this shot a little more. A bit to much white. What would have been neat is if you would have glued the M&M's in and turned the glass over and had 2 glasses.

3 - Colors are ok, but perhaps the 'orange' tweaked a little more. Otherwise, just doesn't hold my attention overall.

This is as white as it can get with complimentary colours.
Nice idea, good colours, focus ok but a bit to much minimalism for my taste.

A simple idea, well lit. I think I would have favored a different crop. Maybe a bit off the top and the glass moved slightly right. Excellent.
