| Hmm...I was going to suggest darkening the sky or the whole thing, but I've decided that making me want to squint is probably the desired effect. |

A different angle where the sun doesn't compete withe rest of the photo would have worked much better.

| Shadows would be even longer if not cropped out (lower tilt and slightly different composition. Would also appear longer if cropped leaving lower left 3/4 of image. |

| Not bad. I think if you had aimed a bit left and down, you would have the 2 guys in a better position (rule of thirds), and you might have been able to get the entire shadow in the shot. |
