Hey there from the Critique Club
Aesthetically, you achieved a fairly pleasing image, but this one really lacks creativity. Scoring 6.2+ on this one is about the best I think it could have done. Your focus is crisp and your exposure is dead on for this shot, but this type of image is well overdone on this site. Its just been done so many times in recent history, that I think voters are growing weary of it. You clearly captured a great image here that has fantastic elements and meets the challenge to a tee. Technically, the only issues I see are the glass reflection and the shadow at the top where the paper meets. I do believe that the symmetry serves this capture very well. I'd consider using past challenges for ideas and guideposts more than making attempts to recreate them. I hope that this critique helps out. |

Nice colors and composition. If you would have avoided reflection, this would have scored even higer. |

Technically very good, but this way of treating glass has become somewhat a cliche and leaves me a bit cold, to be honest. |

Very nice, the three glasses behind each other give an interesting effect. |

Love the technique, but I think I have seen too many of these from past challenges. |

I love the lighting here, I'm guessing some will winge about 'another glass shot..." but a good photo is a good photo. I just wonder what it would have looked like with water in the glasses, did you try it? |

Nice effect, looks like a high scorer to me.
ahowever, this is at least the 4th entry that looks like it was shot at the same place. |

You should have glued the paper on the wall. A small distracting shadow from it ruins a bit.
Overall good. |

5 - Meets the Challenge, just.. the concept is becoming commonplace so the impact is less, especially so close after the Refraction Challenge. So a bit of a risky entry, having said that, to take such a risk with a concept such as this has to be a 'special shot' and this just needs some further refinement, and also, as mentioned, something to give it an edge, in my opinion. |

That makes 4 of this type of shot and 3 have been with orange and blue! Still, they manage to retain some individuality. Good photo. |
