| I gave your shot a 9 but had not made any comments. I just wanted to tell you I believe that this was a lot better than 90th place. I love the light and shadow and geometry of the scene. |

| For some reason, I just love the muted tones and shadows of this photo. The shapes remind me of Mondrian abstracts and I just love the lines...I originally voted an 8 but I'm going to a 9 now... KDJohnson |

| personally, i think i would've liked to see more of the view and less of the room, but i understand you probably wanted to include all the shadows. well, they are nice, but the ones from the xmas lighting are distracting to me. also, your photo does not seem to be quite straight, the wall (corner) in the middle should be vertical. there are a couple of things (plant? and something else) almost visible at the bottom, and a little distracting, too. -- gr8photos (4) |

| I like the dramatic shadows and the warm tones of this picture. Did you try cropping it so that it showed just the shadows on the wall? |

10, 10, 10 I'm in awe. Such talent. I truly have this strange wave of emotion come over me from this photo! This is honestly a piece of work! So I guess I need to start getting up earlier in order to get these great shots (yeah right-I'm a night owl). Magnificant work - LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOOOVE IT!

| This is very interesting to look at - nice idea! The lighting is warm, and the play of shadows across the wall captures your eye. I'm not sure I like the lamp in the corner. Nice contrast between places: the warm glow of the room in contrast to the stress of the city - although the distance and lighting there makes it feel asleep and subdued as well. |

| Nice lighting, view in the deep background and the xmas lights are a nice touch. Vertical framing - I would have liked it better if there were more even shadowing at the top as well as the bottom of this photo. 7 Swash |

| Nice shot. I think the christmas lights outside the window detract a bit, though the shadows are really nice. I like the coloring, but this would also have made a nice black and white shot too. |
