Greetings from the Critique Club

This could actually havebeen a ok photo, but make sure that you will use the full 640x640 when you are taking pictures for DPC. If you don't people will not score you as high as they would otherwize do becouse the picture just doesnt show much on the screen.

But lets see what we can tell you about the picture.
It looks like the colors are pretty gloomy, with some photoshop this egg could actually become a very good photo.

I hope this critique helped :)

Have a nice day!

you can use the 640 pixels to add more detail in your photo.

great shot. make it bigger next time! 7.
05/07/2006 08:48:49 PM
Needs to be a little bigger to show the detail.
05/07/2006 05:27:57 PM
Nice shot, I hope you don't get dinged too badly for it being so small.

There's a nice image here despite the small size. I like the way the horse breaks the lines of the fencing. Wide angle really conveys the straining for the grass. Nicely lit, well exposed, excellently seen!

What a great shot. Why would you not use the 640 pixel image? Why would you want it this small? I'll look beyond the size and give it a 7, however, I know others will not look past the size!

I'm sure you've gotten a number of comments on the size so I really would recommend that you check out this tutorial on resizing for challenges. The extra pixels really make a difference!

Looks like a cute photo, I wish it were 640 pixels so I could see it a little larger.

Grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, good shot

Going to get it's neck stuck

too small! you should definitely utilize the max # of pixels available, you'll score better.

I like this alot. Howerver, I now understand why image size can hurt votes in challanges. I would have liked it at 640 alot better. Sorry

Nice image but a little small. I like the framing of the animal within the fence.

Nice colors and funny shoot. Next time save larger for the web (640pix max) so that we can see more detail. Good luck -7-

Bit small...
05/01/2006 05:56:23 PM
i think this would score significantly higher if it were max allowed size, seems to small but appears to have great contrast, and compositin.

Take advantage of the 640 x 640 pixel size limit. It will always help your score. Looks like a nice photo.

A shame that it isn't larger, hard to see it properly when this size.
05/01/2006 12:47:54 AM
a larger photo makes it easier to judge...also could use more saturation

This looks like it might be a fun image, but the size of the image makes it really difficult to rate porperly. Try to submit images up to the 640 pixel max.
