 Taken this morning at the Children’s Festival outside the Discovery Museum in San Jose, CA. This mother was coaching her daughter (and other kids) who were on stage dancing a traditional Mexican dance. I couldn’t resist the shot – the baby smiling was just killer!

Very little post processing. Crop, levels, some burn/dodge, resize, USM, border.

nice candid moment. not really front page material (except on a really slow news day), but it's the type of stuff weekly papers love. bad idea with the border, though.

Great capture of the "moment". Childs face, note and Mom's face create a pattern that conveys a message. DOF is right for a newspaper.

It's a good photo which will evoke a lot of feelings.

'or else' what!....? it always makes me feel sad that children are pushed this way by their own Mom.
