 This is a field of corn by the side of a state highway in Central Texas. I was caught by the sadness of the farmer's plight and the beauty of the plants blowing in the wind. The windmill poked up like a sentry, guarding the crop.

the sky and clouds area really nice. I little more detail in the foreground would have been good.

not photojournalism really, i cant tell a story from this, but it is an ok photo....the shadows have lost all detail however.

corn is to dark to me , fillin flash might have helped.
