Wonderful capture of moment. I would crop closer and work on color correction. The skin tone is too pink and could be fixes for a tender moment.

Tender capture. There appears to be a red color cast that shows up in skin tones. A simple solution for that is to add Hue/Saturation adjustment layer and simply reducing the saturation of red. I think you will find the improvement in skin tones to be surprisingly dramatic.

a studio shot may have worked better, it's sweet but clashes of clothing and background spoil it for me
