I do not work for reuters or AFP so i am not in jaffna as scheduled. Captures this image in colombo where we feel on the brink of Civil War. Maybe not tomorrow but eventually. We can only hope but no one really believes that this beautiful country will avoid more Civil War.

No risk to myself for this image but hoping that peace can win.

ah. the subject has potential ... shoot from placard height, take slightly different perspective to get closer to the placard, adjust DOF if neccesary ... shoot. in post processing crop so it looks deep, burn the unwanted parts to unregonition ... select reds and desaturate the rest ... this would make it much much better i think, and you ?

nhf :-)

where's the people? Get your buddy out there with a stapler to look like he's putting the posters up, then it looks like photojournalism, it's telling more of a story - now, does posed photojournalism count on DPC? :-)

OK, yes, this works. Kinda static but it would do in a newspaper.
