 I didn't realize how difficult it was to capture a shot like this until I tried to do it. It took a combination of good lighting, good timing and a cooperative subject. This particular shot was the best of many I took over a 3 day period under different backround and lighting conditions and of course Natty got a little tired of me coaxing her into a gallop after a while! I wish I could have used a faster shutter speed but it would have effected my DOF. I had to prefocus the camera and time the shot just as she reached the dandelion you see on the left. There is some motion blur in the back leg but I love the expression on her face. She was obviously having a good time.

Great Capture! Nice DOF. The rhythm of running may not occur to other DPCers. I get it though and know how hard this capture is to attain.
