This was taken @ my daughter\'s school for a fundraiser I did for the school. This little girl was so sweet and was alot of fun to work with. She was so shy and innocent, but did everything I told her to do.

Greetings from the Critique Club Lorrie!

Abosolute cutie pie of a child. This capture makes you want to squeeze her to death and pinch her cheeks in the process :). Exposure looks to be good and you handled the lighting well. This is a shot that any parent would be proud to hang on their wall.

Even though 6.0211 isn't a bad score at all, why didn't it receive a better one? My opinion would be the vignetting you added. While I certainly like it in this case, it may not appeal to the masses. It's definitely a hit or miss step for DPC. You felt it worked, I feel it worked, but some probably didn't think so. I'd also clone out the little blemish on her arm.

Overall a great shot indeed!

Thank you for the opportunity to critique this image Lorrie.

Cheers - Phil

I'm not sure what effect vignetting is supposed to create, but it almost always makes a picture look contrived.

This is a cute shot. I think the vignetting is a little heavy.

Vignetting doesn't feel appropriate

What a lovely photograph. It is so clear and crisp and soft all at the same time. Good work. 9

I like your shot, but IMO the shadow around her is a bit too close.

Normally, I do not like vingetting, but it really works in the capture. This is a great expression that you have caught, and the crop works very well. I'd like to see her catch lights a bit stronger, but nice photo over all.

Charming face.

Cute expression. I'm not always a fan of vignetting, but I think works well here, maintaining the focus on the child's face.

I like the portrait part of this image, her face is appropriately lit and she's giving you a great smile but I feel that the top is a little tightly cropped and the flowers are a bit blown out. Keep up the good work, hopefully she's got a lot more smiles for the camera.

Captivating; nice clean, sharp, image. Maybe I would have been gentler with the vignette?
