Nice expression of concentration on the boy! Like your choice of sepia for that "nostalgic" feeling. Would have cropped a bit more from the right as th hat-brim and shirt of his companion detract a little.

Nice capture. Personally I would have cropped out the left side to about half the glove. (I know, I hate it when people tell me how theywould crop my picture,) but the white shirt on the man in background is very distracting. I like this shot.

The strength in this photo is the depth of field. The focus on the kid and his glove is really nice and the background is isolated with the blur. I like the toning you have chosen, but the tonal range looks a little flat. Perhaps a curves adjustment would fix this right up and add some needed contrast. Good eye and Go Braves. At least I think that's a tomahawk I see on the right there.
