I think this is absolutely gorgeous. I finally figured out how to set up my favorite photographers so I can look at all of your photos.
I'm about 80 steps behind you in getting this artistic eye for photos, but I'm keepin' on keepin' on. I love it too much to stop. :) |

If the reflection wasn't overexposed, this would be a 9 or 10. I like the dark silhouettes, but should have exposed the water correctly. 7 |

Quite an interesting shot, though I would have loved to have seen it in color. My guess is that you did b&w because the color version was not quite spectacular though. I like the composition as well as the concept. Makes me think of one of those caves that eventually fills up with water at high tide. |

This is one of my favorites from this challenge - utterly gorgeous, from the silhouette framing to the water itself. A lot of glare here, but it only takes out details at its brightest, and is itself a focus by the way the picture is set - very nice. Love being able to see the wavelets breaking near the bottom of the frame. |

Good job. My personal preference would have been that this one be in color, but I do like the photo. |

Like the composition and the color choices. What method did you use to get these tones? Good use of textures between the soft clouds, the active ocean and the dead/inert limb and cave.
With this being grayscale or duotone I would like to see this a little less silver. - 7 |

I like the composition though the bright reflection on the water seems a bit too birght. |

I love the silhouette, and the lighting on the clouds. The irregularity of the framing of the opening helps the bw establish tension, I think. |

Great shot. Good job on the lighting and good choice going B&W. The clouds, the light shining on the water and the craggy branch hanging down give this lots of drama. 10 |
