| could use more contrast, or adjustment in levels/curves to bring out the white. the lack of varying levels causes everything to lose their 3 dimensionality, with rocks blending into the water, etc. |

| The vertical lines in the rotting wood contrast nicely with the horizontal lines in the water. The use of the raven as a symbol of desolation is a nice touch, and the title nicely ties the photo to Poe's literary masterpiece on the subject. |

Feels dark and moody more than desolate but I like it a lot. Lovely textures and good choice to go black and white. Nice composition also.

| Nicely composed photo. I like the texture contrast between vertical lines and horizon then the crow is just is in the spot. |
