I actually was inspired by this setting, though perhaps my feeling isn't clearly enough conveyed. The feeling you get at Alcatraz is definitely desolate & creepy once you learn the story of what's gone on there. It was packed with tourists though so I did what I could. Thanks for the comments.

| Just me but I'm wondering how the chipped plaster would look if you got down beside the radiator and shot across the floor with the shadows lighting up the FG at this location. I'd also like to see the levels or brightness turned down a little. Just my opinion - I think you chose a good setting but an uninspirational subject. - 5 |

| I love your picture! I've always been fascinated with Alcatraz, and I visited a few years ago and remember the awesome view from the cafeteria. Great picture and perfect depiction of desolation! :) |

| Good exposure and the light and shadows on the floor add to the visual interest without detracting from the sense of abandonment and decline. |

Needs rotation to set window upright. Very nice use of light to paint shapes.
