Hi, my name is Kari and from the critique club.
First Impression - the most important one:
I thought she might be practising karate or something nasty like that.
Composition:
I like it ... for me you coold have cropped some of the building at the back a bit and put the girl on verticla thirds on the left had of the shot .. and created a slightly more powerful shot .. that way you don't loose the environment and keep the pink socks totally in sync.
Subject:
ok some have said DNMC .. but I say this is a kid and yes it does!
Technical (Colour and light):
Natural light ... always appreciate that ... she is red in the face so you made her jump lots! .. you mean person.
To grow its vote?:
I think this shot was a challenge for you and so different from others in your portfolio .. keep doing that and challenging yourself outside your comfortzone.
Summary:
Great work ... can only see good in your future .. keep it up.

| This is a fun shot to look at. I don't like to take too much away but if you had her over to the left with the background remaining as is I think the shot would have better balance and her left arm wouldn't have been clashing with the building. Her whole gesture is great, especially the left foot. Keep up the good work DPC needs more shots like this. |

| This doesn't say anything to me about the girl (except that she can jump). The buildings do not add anything to the shot IMO. |

| There is what looks like a spot editing problem around her left foot. Otherwise a fun and dynamic picture. |

nice action shot. I am just not seeing how this meets the challenge.
Photograph a portrait that says something about the subject within the framework of their own environment. |
