Thumbs up! I like the translucent quality of the popcorn.

This is a fun one. Although this is definitely not the environment I would expect popcorn to be in (all white background) - so good idea, but the elements just don't work together (for me as a viewer).

Very cool idea and the lighting within the kernel is excellent!

Nice pic! I would have used a different colour background though in order to create a bit more contrast.

Wow,, I hope you'll put a mini tutorial on the boards re: how you shot this. The floating illusion is really something. Unfortunately because the negative space is white I don't think it is as pronounced as it could be. Maybe if the blue shading had been just a little darker and drawn down further. Still a very nice image.

For some reason, I really like this. 8.

Great idea. But with the white on white you needed to pop out ( pun intended) the corn a little more with no fuzziness.

great shallow dept of field...

it is a neg. space, for sure... - I like your creativity...

Good luck in the challenge, v.

Great light! Very sharp. Gives the impression of the glow of a movie screen. I really like the tonal range in the popcorn. Only nitpick is the (very slight) falloff in the top left corner. I'd have considered cropping that...

Fantastic idea for a shot. Crappy that your neg space is there just for the sake of being there.

Perfect popcorn placement procures punkish placebo. 9
