I guess this is a garden gazing ball. I'm not sure why, but I really like this! 8 |

The foreground is too dark. This makes the subject seem insignificant. |

A landscape that acutally meets my definition of a still life. Well done. |

Something really cool about this shot. Think it's the low angle and the gazing ball that sort of looks like planetary against the blue reflection of the sky in the water. |

This does not meet the challenge - inanimate but not an arranged composition. (Apart from the one thing, so then it's a picture of a thing). |

excellent way to make a landscape shot into a still life. Thank you, because I was getting sick of giving low scores to landscape shots. |

Love it. One of my favorite shots for this challenge. I could nitpick of course (the twigs are a bit distracting) but it's still a 10 for me. Love the colours and the reflection as well as the interesting subject of course. |

Got to love it. It doesn't fit my conventional view of a still life because of being outdoors and a landscape - but I love it!
I try quite hard to find an angle in a shot that would make me understand how that photographer felt their image would fit the challenge, and here I do see that because of the subject of the photo being the glass ball.
Wonderfully creative, great comp and colours. I hope it does well. |

Composition is good. The idea is unique, but I'm not sure if it appeals to me. |

Sorry, I do not feel this meets the challenge. Nice shot otherwise. |

Nice shot! Nicely composed, good colors. Unique shot, a little off challenge topic for some but still a great shot! 9 |
