Ha, it’s “Risky Business” just associating yourself with Tom Cruise these days, what a nut! (A rich nut! But still a nut!)
Well, this is just a standard shot taken with a 50mm lens, shutter release cord and a desk lamp (and RayBan’s – had to dig through a few boxes to find those bad boys!). Converted to BW in Adobe RAW – decided to saturate a little at the end as the pic was a little too gray – I like the final affect.
I couldn’t hope to compete with the self-portrait artistic talents of a MandyTurner, Arti-Elvi, Ennil, Pedro or Annah (to name a few) – they are all way out of my league…..ssooooo, I'm not really worried about the score - just thought I’d go for the basics and finally introduce myself to DPC after 37 challenges (fyi, you got a glimpse of me in my Education challenge).
I am Mark, I am me, I am macpapas! Hello DPC! |

Simple, understated and well done. The eyes are perfect and the composition and perspective good. |

I like the shallow DOF in this shot. The focus on your eyes is very good and the catchlights are great. I like the composition and full tone range. |

Like it. Maybe clone the light out of the left lens a bit. Nice sharp eyes. Good composition. |
