**Critique Club**
As you may have already encountered the DNMC from the voters and comments, I wouldn't look at how this meets the challenge.
Technically a great image, the drops are sharp and clear. A shallower dof would make things better IMO. Also I wish I could see more green in the background and avoided the blacks.
You have followed the rule of third which makes the image dynamic.
Overall well executed image.

Right, but I don't think you will brown as Bear did. This is a nice photo, colors and composition. What will help you is that there are some other off topic shots that have you beat for The Brown:-) |

A very beautiful shot, but I don't get the connection to Self Portrait. Am I missing something? |

This is a beautiful image, but no matter how I look at it, I can't see it being a self-portrait. |

nice use of DOF. the water drops are simply radiant, evoking the "Soul" in your title. 7. |

the needs to be a little more clear to accept the fact that there seems to be no real self in the picture. |

And in homage to the voters that kicked bear's a$$ in that challenge, I give it a DNMC. Unless you actually ARE a waterdrop - then please accept my apologies. :) |
