| Negative points first: The lighting is kind of flat with no shadows, I would have liked to have seen the lighting set up a little differently bringing in a few shadows amplifying the facial contours. Also I would have gone about the processing on the eyes a bit differently. The eye whites should contain a little more detail, here they come over a touch too white and most of the detail has been washed out. And the positive for last :) Skin tones are good, no drift into magenta or green as I see often. The composition is good with the negative space on the left. Maybe a little fan blowing the hair a little into the negative space might have worked too, but that is just me, I like seeing movement on shots like this. Focus and sharpness is good and not exaggerated. Bumping from 7 to 8 :) |
