 Blah! I HATE self portraits or photos of me, not that I think I look bad or anything, I know I am super handsome, it´s just the feeling of not having control and not seeing myself through the viewfinder before the camera goes "click" fills me with dread.

Thanx to Andri for helping me out. I set everything up, the lights, camera and everything but I got him to model for me while I set up the lights (I don´t have a light meter so I have to do it that way) and then pressing the shutter so this whole thing could go faster, if I have had to use a timer or a remote trigger I would never had time to enter this challenge.

Was going to try something more original but eventually ran out of time and this is a last minute submission, taken at about 22:00 pm the last day of submission.

Post processing is cropping, b/w conversion with the channel mixer, increase contrast and curves, a little bit of healing brush and dodging and finally sharpened after resizing.

Sorry but I gave this a 3, and thought I should at least tell you why. To me this challenge is about self creativity, not just looking into your camera and making a funny face. Your image might be visual but in the over all scope, it lacks a level of imagination.

You said you were the best looking man on the site, and I haven't the will or the data to be able to disagree. Nice work, as always. Your B&W work here is contrasty without begin too dark and harsh where needed, soft where needed. You know, it's almost as though you took this shot on purpose. Good luck.

LOL :) This expression cracks me up. I like the contrasty tones and the catchlights in both your eyes. Good lighting on the face to show the texture of your beard. I like the crop too.
