Pretty amazing that New Orleans still looks like this in many places. Just goes to show that most of us who haven't visited NO since the hurricanes or lived there really have ANY idea on how bad it still is. The media packed up long ago to start stalking the next story of death, despair, and destruction. A very sad portrait into how poorly the news and government have handled the whole crisis. With NO and the Gulf Coast still in uch shambles, the news should be reporting on this daily and remind people that they can still help!!!

Yep. That was a failure on a grand scale for sure. Very sad and unfortunate. You captured this gruesome aftermath well.

Powerful image with a great photojournalism feel. There is almost too much to look at in the scene. I'd like to see one particular area of failure isolated for the challenge.

ooo... nice composition, maybe more contrast or more dramatic lighting (dusk maybe) could have brought this photo out, nice work though
