Well, you certainly don't need me to tell you big frames don't fly on DPC. That cost you right there. (I haven't looked, but I'm sure nearly half your comments mentioned the border.)

I like the composition, lighting and PP. The PP looks to be along Goodman's style who uses Acid a lot. One limiting factor may be the viewer doesn't know if this is staged or real. I think it's because there is nothing else in the frame other than our subject. A real candid of such an event might be worth something; a stanged shot, less so.

Personally, I'm a bit surprised about the 4.9. I think it should rate higher. The frame brought you down and perhaps a lack of "wow". It isn't a bad shot at all though.

EDIT: Well, looks like you only got one comment about the frame. Consider yourself lucky. ;)

shouldn't he get back in the game, there's no blood is there? Ronnie Lott of the San Francicso 49er's had one of his fingers ripped off by the trainer and got back into the game. good job with this image, his facial expression is visible within the helmet.

The lighting is a little off. The shadows are on your subject, while the highlights are limited to the background. Spinning him around and shooting from the other side would be a big help.
