Hey there from the Critique Club
First of all, congrats on your second highest scoring image to date, as well as a well-deserved top 10 finish.
Camera Work/Technical: Great technical work. Your focus is crisp and your colors are vivid. The overall tone of the image is also very appealing.
Lighting: Near flawless lighting, but I see a slight haze on the first two columns. I think that a slight curves adjustment would remedy that, as well as provide some nice contrast to the image.
Composition/Content: Everything about this composition works well together. Your perspective is terrific and your various leading lines, the flooring, the windows, and the fading lighting, work very well to pull the viewer into the eye. Then there is the ball. While it has no apparent reason for being there, it works perfectly for this capture.
My Opinion: You did a very nice job meeting the challenge, and you placed very well as this image should have. Well seen and very well captured.

| Nice colors, but I don't like the white part of the frame. It almost looks too smooth (neat image?) and I wish that the texture on the wall would be more pronounced. |

| Gives the feeling of an abandonned summer vacation spot, though it's probably really a warehouse or something. Very good angle, nice placement of the object. I like the colors. |

| Well, the beachball is positioned correctly, and it's not a chair. ;^) As for the room it doesn't feel much like a room. Seems more industrial (which it is) or like a parking garage with windows. Not sure why I'm mentioning the room type. Maybe because the size of the room makes this image feel less personal. The child's toy in this kind of space seems a bit disconnected. Sorry if my ramblings aren't helpful...I'm just shooting from the hip as the thoughts come in on your entry for this challenge. Good luck. |

| I like the contrast that the beachball gives it. Both in contrast and in subject. The angle gives the photo some depth that I like very much. |

| Great 'emptiness', but I wish it had 'bigger balls'. Maybe the ball could have been closer to camera to add prominence and punch to the bottom left of frame? |

| Wow ... this is freaking me out a bit. I was in a place like this and accidentally left a beach ball there after taking my photo. It's not the same place, but it's strangly similar. As far as a photo, I think you've done a great job with the set up and lighting. 8 |
