Hello from Ãlex, CTP MkII
First Impression: What a explosion of color!!! Great shot
Composition: really impressive, works right the body of the peacock on the middle of the image.
Subject: very appropiate for the challenge
Technical: the colors are stunning, the focus alnd light good.
Improvement: difficult, let me think... well... maybe that the peacock was giving you a profile.
Summary: Really great photo. Congrats.

First impression:
Lovely looking Peacock. Yes and it is green all over.
What can you do better?
IMO when shooting a bird the details in the feathers must come through. In this case you show it all but there are details missing. Maybe a closer view (more details) of its head with few green feathers in the background or in front would have scored better. Also if you had caught a female bird in front or just something that would make this picture more than just a lovely bird.
I saw a good thread here on DPC yesterday:

hi from ctp2:
This is gorgeous! I love it! I can't think of any "critique" other than maybe it wasn't quite green enough for a green challenge? Great shot! |

Wonderful! Love the the extreme focal point and the vibrat colors! Green? Well, there is some green in it, but it doesn't yell green at me. |

I'm bumping this higher due to the lack of originality in 80% of the photos. A simple but brilliant take on the challenge. |

This is stunning. I love the tight crop too - having the frame filled with feathers works really well. I expect to see this on the front page on results day!! |

Striking capture. Love the fact that blue is another element in this shot without taking away from the green. |

This is an incredible picture, but the blue catches my eye before the green. |
