Hey there from the Critique Club

Camera Work/Technical: Great tones and coloring in this capture. All the colors are nicely close and make this a very comforting, warm scene. Your focus is also crisp, and your depth of field is superb.

Lighting: I find myself wanting to see her face. I'd like to see it turned just a bit toward the window so that all her features aren't lost in the shadow. I also see what Techo is saying. There is a bit of a harsh change from dark to light on the left side of the frame.

Composition/Content: Flawless. The open door, the lines of the floor, the base board and the blinds all provide terrific leading lines that point directly to your main subject.

My Opinion: I think you did a terrific job meeting the challenge, and you did it in a very creative manner. With a little more detail on her face, I think this one would have scored even better.

Very good image. If any burning was done to the left side perhaps the graduation from light to dark is just a tad abrubt, though I do see the white bottom molding almost all the way to the edge of the image. Just hope most of the other viewers will see it as such also.

Nice! The only thing that distracts me is the door. Is it open? the lines on the door seem to be at a different angle. Great shot.

Not even a chair, because then it would have been two "things", not one, so it definately meets the challenge. I really like the photo, shades of yellow and brown dominating it. Maybe a crop where the full reflection was visible?

Would of preferred a tad more lighting in this one. Maybe a reflector of some sort may of helped.

Watch out for splinters. But seriously, I really like the darkness of exposure yets crispness around the shadows. You have to love a photo that leaves you wanting more.

The distortion from the W/A lens helps the feel of this for me. Well observed lighting (only happens once a day!).

Lighting is perhaps a shade strong, lovely idea and excellent angle especially the rectangle of light on the floor. Consider changing the position of the model within the frame to a slightly stronger place.

I like the mood here, but I do not feel the emptiness of the room because such a small part of it is shown.

Nice image & nice setup... my thinking is that all the shadows makes for too many lost details on the model... and because of that, it losses impact.

lol. your title is amusing concidering how many entries are just a chair in the room. wish this were lighter though. the features are lost even the left third of the picture is almost indecernible. i like your angle though

Really nice. No furniture, no clothes, hardly any light - great concept. I love the play of the shadows. Love the title too. Bravo.
