 This was taken at a vacant motel off Hwy 27. Place cash register on table to the right to give it a lonely feel. The empty room is the lobby and the one item is the cash register.

Should have put the cash register on the floor. Sez I, with 20-20 hindsight. Until I read your description of intentions, I can't see what the 'thing' is, or even if it's one or more things. Shame, because the picture has a good empty room mood to it.

Nice colors. I think you could improve this one if you crop it on the right side so that you've only got two walls and one window left. I hope you understand what I mean, it's a bit hard to explain what I mean in English.

I love the lighting here. This would fit the challenge better if there was an obvious object in the room I think.
