This picture is a bit flat and lacks colour adjusting.
I used the level function in GIMP (free editing software)
I am not saying it is perfect but IMO it looks better and would probably score more.

Great shot ΓΆ€“ I could just eat an apple about now!

I see no deep shadows though. It has a lack of contrast that I suspect has come from adjusting brightness/contrast on an out of calibration monitor. It's a real shame 'cause it's great otherwise :(

If the triangle of shadow on the right looks black and featureless on your display then I think your monitor need calibrating.

It seems like you have raised tht brightness too much. The shadows don't seem dark enough.
