Well, I´m not sure how can arrive to that final edition. In fact, my first idea was to prove with selfportrait. So I decide to take some shoots in the bathroom of a hotel, Hotel Pathos in Gijon, cause the light was ok. But, the wall of the bathrooms has orange circles.This background wasn´t very good. I was playing with contrast and bright and when I was looking for a good high key pic, I got this one.
I know, well I think, I´m not getting a good average with this one, but I like it, so I decided to submit. Hope you like, but know it´s a little bit strange pic. |

Hello from the Critique Club!
My first impression is very positive. I don't usually like high key photos, but this one is very well done. A lot of people seem to over expose their photos and call it high key. I am glad you did not do this.
Your pose adds to the interest. You obeyed the rule of thirds, your attention is not on the camera, and your head is tilted to one side. These elements make this a more dynamic shot and give the viewer the impression that more is happening that you just having your photo taken.
Overall this is a very nice self portrait!
