Composition
Nice shot, and the pic shows it all. Just wondering if it would have been possible to get a different more exciting angle. Guess it's hard considering they probably don't want you poking a camera at them :P... but either way it has a very journalistic style. I like how most of the car is covered in smoke, but you can just see what happened.

Technical
No qualms. Everything is sharp, in focus, and even the smoke came out nice.

Post processing
Please list your post processing next time. Anyways, it needs more impact. nothing really grabs you. Play with curves/selective colouring to see if you can achieve a more dynamic photo, as it looks a bit drab, and i guess that's where the score fell a bit.

Over it's is a nice catch, and I'm sure you could have sold the shot to a local newspaper. With a little more impact the score would have been higher.

Ouch, a sad scene to find. You have good composition and I believe you can make this pic better. Firstly try it out as B/w with the fireman slightly sepia/ yellow coloured and try and bring out the blue of the smoke. I'm sure it'll look even more fab

Nice composition here, and a good photojournalism feel. Good luck.

Maybe for you, but not for the driver. :-) Nice find.

There doesn't seem to be enough impact in this shot for the subject. Maybe a closer shot? 6
