I like your idea of shooting the 3 apples. Here's what comes to mind -- I bet with a plain white background it could look pretty good, especially if you played with the lighting a bit to cut down on the glare on the apples.
I've been trying to figure out what the plastic item in the middle is and can't figure it out? For me it takes away from the apples, which are the focus of the shot. |

| What's the green stick in the background? I feel you should have adjusted the DOF to blurr out your towel background. |

| This shot seems to be cropped a little too close. It would be nice to completely see all three apples. |
