This was one of three 10s I gave in this challenge. Shadows are very well integrated into the feel of the whole picture. Without them, it wouldn't be the same. Lower finish that I'd have expected but this is a very powerful picture.

Lovely shot, and the shadows playing are very nice. There are shuch subtle textures in these petals, and you show them nicely with very light shadows. Well done on this shot of an outstanding plant.

Nicely done as far as tones go, and controlled processing too - the conversion works well also. I find the framing a little half-hearted - going off-centre is no bad thing for a more arresting image, but if you're determined to keep the full frame look of the image I'd strongly suggest being more committed with that - the negative space image left adds nothing here, I would suggest.

thats really cool, the petals look like porcelain. the composition doesn't do a lot for you though. I would have liked to see a bit more negative space around the flower

I like the flower, but not in b/w. Sorry. 8

Very nice, subtle shadows that don't overpower the flower but add to it.

Very cool black and white image. This looks like an image done in a 3D program with no colors added just shading. Nice work.
