I voted this one high because of the subtlety... it was refreshing change :) |

This is just a bit too subtle. |

this is either strong setup to make one think...or overuse of editing. I couldn't begin to guess which. I hope for your sake it is setup. comp is a bit awkward for a critique..
note: just saw you were validated. okay, umm, strengthen your comp. |

I don't get it...sorry. This may fit better in the portrait challenge. |

Challenge: SHADOWS III
Description: Creatively capture a shadow
Advanced Edit
The Evil Inside
Fit: Clearly meets the challenge 1
I am not sure that it does but there is a shadow!
Aesthetics: OK composition 1
It is moody for sure, but not evil. The shadows do not add to the image and it feels as though it could have been cropped tighter
Technical: Technically well executed 2
I cannot see much wrong with the technical aspects
Wow: Not special/ordinary 0
While I love the moodiness there is not much about this image that creatively captures a shadow, hence the low score - sorry.
Total Score = 4 |

interesting project, but the "eyes" are kind of hard to see - I would not notice them had it not say "photo has been validated" which forced me to look harder... I wonder how many people have missed the "eyes"? |

Hehehehe...I can see why they requested a validation but if they look closely you can see that it is real. Great exposure. |

Great Idea. It seems to need a bit more contrast to really "nail" the effect. COmp clarity and color seems right on though. |

Funny and nice.... It took me a while to find the "evil" things but now they seem obvious... way to go :o) |

I originally voted this photo lower. It wasn't until I got ready to comment that I realized what you were doing and I bumped it up a little based on the idea alone. Darkening the shadows and making the red in the eyes a little bigger and brighter would have helped it even more. The way you have it now, it's so easy to miss your intentions. |

Very subtle... good (or rather, great) idea. Maybe a bit too subtle for the DPC crowd, and that really is the only weakness I can find... personally I like it very much. |

Shadows aren't well defined against that background. |

Very creative, I wish the shadows were a little darker and easier to see. |
