This is a small replica of the Egyptian sphinx that I found in a garden I visited. There were two, unfortunately both with broken noses!

I played around with a LOT of different colourisations.. I hope this one appeals best.

Not a reall wow shot but nice to see such a historical monument, I like the broken nose. tones are good, slightly off center, maybe thats intentional, good job.

Now I know you didn't go all the way to Egypt to take this photo :-) The left ear seems to be lower than the right ear, is that just me or is it really like that? I like the courseness of the stone which you've brought out very well - 8.

Maybe this could have been photographed from a different angle. The subject matter is excellent but I'm not moved by the angle at which it was taken.
