| Neat-o! It looks like it would crack if I touched it. Very dry. I might have put it on and against a white background, and back-lit it to brighten the picture a bit, yet leave the leaf looking old and dry. |

Very nice - soft and subtle, yet obvious for the challenge. This is a very great picture. Perhaps just a tad too dark (could be the screen). 8 from me!!

| Like the display of texture. Background color and general setting seems out of place. Good use of DOF technique and nice shadows on the leaf itself. Doesn't hold my interest. |

| The texture of the leaf does show in parts, but overall I find this picture rather lacking in colour. |

| For some reason I like this. I think the contrast could have been bumped up a little more but that's coming from someone who often adds too much contrast to her own photos. Just a preference for me. This is very interesting though...I'd also like to see a bit more light..it seems kind of dark. 7 |

| The simplicity of this picture is incredible. I love the way this leaf is lit and displayed, looking almost like a mouth. Awesome picture. |

| I really like the composition but the top half of the leaf being out of focus really takes away from the overall "textureness" of the picture. |
