2 different textures here....meets the challenge. Funny you should choose a sponge. I took some of sponges too. Email me if you'd like to see a couple of mine. itsbygrayce@yahoo.com I'd like to see the dof deeper.

Nothing to really grab me in this image, although you've met the challenge. 4 sjgleah

too much depth of field; more focus would have brought out the detail of the sponge more

This is a very cool and creative photo!! I like the curviness of the 'horizon' and the textures. The dof is great for this shot. 9

Too shalow of a depth of field. Nice texture on the sponge but I would of liked to see a bit more of it in the front and back a slight bit.

Very good use of color! The screws look very plastic, and the sponge is very touchable.

Unique and good textures and colors. I would have prefered if that bottom strip was also in focus.

cooool shot!! I like the shallow DOF here, looks like some space/sci-fi thing.

Very nice... The colors are rather interesting. A slightly wider DOF might have been nice, but this is cool nonetheless.

I think the DOF work well here - unfortunately, it also takes away some of the texture aspect of this shot.

okay, i like this one because it's clever, and it took some creativity ad imagination, not only that but it fits into the category without stretching it. some of the simplist things in life, like a sponge and a couple of green screws can the greatest works of art! this really is totally awesome. great job!

Like the creativity! Good lighting! Don't like the blurriness in close foreground and something seems "off" about the background.

Something about this just works for me - I think maybe it's the colors and the insanity of screwing a sponge.

Nice colors and texture. If the depth of field were a sharper throughout I'd love it more.

You captured the texture of the front screw and the sponge but personally I just don't like the picture. Don't see what it is trying to convey besides just doing a texture exercise. Sorry
