300mm 2.8 with three extension tubes. At approx. 5 feet, somewhat sidelight, hand held. Shot to have little dof behind the skipper and flowers. A dust spot is somewhat obvious and normally would be removed, but it couldn't and meet rules.

Nice bokeh. The image seems a little soft.

Wonderful work...very beautiful. I like the colours of the moth.

Not quite in focus on the moth.

If only I liked butterflies - I would probably like this photo. But the butterfly lacks in beauty and the flowers are rather ho-hum. The picture itself has good composition - the models need help.

It's quite hard to do, but you really have to nail the sharpness with the yes on little creatures. Good capture.

Nice image, definite bokeh. The moth is a little out of focus, which will probably hurt your score. If the moth were tack sharp, you would have had a "great" picture here, as opposed to a "good" one.

wow, such nice coloring and composition, wish there were more focus on the wings but I suppose that would have been hard to do while keeping the background as oof as it is, lovely photo overall, 7

Not sharp. Too bad, because composition and colors were good.

Perfect example for bokeh. Love the orange with the green and pink with that hint of black for POW. The composition is perfect. If this were advanced editing, I might suggest a slight sharpen on the head of the bug. OR maybe I need another cup of coffee. :~D Still, a great image. 9

Pity about the noise in the background. You could try use software like NeatImage to clean it up.

The bokeh of the background is good, but I'd wish that the moth is sharper.
