I haven't been to that zoo since I think first grade! Maybe second grade, but I don't think you were in my class then. for some strange reason i feel connected to the subject of the picture ^_^ |

Hey Ben! Cool colorful entry! Parrots are interesting subjects indeed. I like how the one on the right is scratching himself and the one of the left looks like he's saying "Ohmygawd! Yay! Photo op! I must show my nonexistant teeth!" Cause he's smiling crazy. |

Heyz! I knew I would find it eventually :-P I like the composition and it's a fine example of proper bokeh. Parrots always make for an interesting subject ;-) The highlights seem a tad bright, tho it might just be my monitor. Hope this does well, good luck! :-D |

LOL. The look on the left bird's face mirrors the fun mood perfectly. |

I would like it better if the top of the right bird's head were in focus. |

nice shot! the background does add interest, since it's like a partial canopy. if it were all white or all greens, that wouldn't do it. |

I already voted, now back for comments. I gave you a 9 on this shot. Lovely colors, crisp detail, nice subject and bokeh. |

The strength of the white space in the background overpowers the focus on the birds..... |

It's nice that you captured two birds, however I think the bird on the left is a bit of a distraction. The bird on the right has nice sharp focus and the bokeh to the right blends well. Could probably be better a vertical crop with only the one bird. |

Wonderful capture. I would have liked to see the bird on the right a little lighted up, though. Maybe dodge his face a little.. he's sort of hidden in shadows, especially compared to the other bird. |
