I really love the colours and the stillness of the water but I'm going to have to agree with others here that it's not the best of your series here. It just seems to be lacking that little something that your other photos have. Still, i'd be happy with it in my portfolio! :) |

This shot looks just average compared to the rest of your Yosemite images. There seems to a be a bit too much going on and I have a hard time finding a main point of interest. Sorry, this one just doesn't work for me. |

My least favourite of the series. I just don't know where to look. Seems a bit chaotic compared to your, normally, very controlled photographs. |

I think this is just too busy for the theme you were after. There's a lot of crisscross action going on here between the water reflection and the stuff above the water. I tried to do something similar called "reflect" in my portfolio. It's nothing special but I thought it had a good flow to it if anything and I think that's what your image needs here.

This one doesn't hold as much interest for me as the other ones, however it's still a very good shot. I like the enormity of the sequoia in the reflection on the right and the green of the grasses. I think I'm probably accustomed to seeing a lot of forests and streams, so it is less effective personally. I do like the soft natural color tones though. |

Less effective than the rest. I find it interesting that this is the image you chose not to extend your duotone theme to, perhaps because the elements here did not support it well. It could be that it's because I've seen this scene so often where I live, but little holds interest for me. Nice reflections however, and, as usual, lovely composition. |

Once again I "LOVE" the softness of the reflection. The composition really has so much to say as well.....It is kind of busy, but also peaceful..... |

Wow, such beautiful colors. It is a bit busy, but I think that helps give the sense of real, raw nature. Just took me a second to orient myself. I also like how it's not in sharp focus... I think it just gives it an abstract feel that I think is pleasing. |
