a sweet photo, I'd never guess this is yours, haha!
I think I might have cropped the upper petals from the 2 flowers off of the photo, somehow it bothers me that they are there. |

I love the idea of this shot and it's very nice I think. The petals do appear a bit blown out and lost some detail, and I agree that cropping out the upper bright petals at the top of the frame would give more impact to the rest of the shot. The photo does appeal to me and I'd like to try a similar flower shot sometime. |

I made a comment on this one in the challenge, but I like to add some more in depth ones now. I actuallly do really like this a lot, and feel to definately suited the challenge. I think the focus on the one daisy works so well, and the background is just so colorful..... Good jod. |

Not a bad shot but honestly, I would probably have given this a 5 in this challenge as I don´t really find it that interesting either. To improve it I would crop out the petals that sneak into the frame from above, compose it more according to the rule of thirds and watch the highlights on the flower, I haven´t checked with a histogram verification but they seem blown out to me, if you use raw I would have darkened it there with exposure compensation and then brightened again with curves or levels or whatever you use. Had you did those three things this would have been a much better image but like I said, not bat at all :) |

I love the green in the b/g and the sharpness on the center of the daisy. I would like to see the petals a little bit more clearly, although you probably would have had to put a shade on the sun :). I also agree that it would look superb if the petals of the top 2 daisies that are peeking into the shot were cropped out. |

Good bokeh. I would have given even higher rating if the daisy in the top wasn't distracting me. Maybe crop it out? 9 |

Very nice, but I think the photo would be better if you cropped a little from the top. Those petals sticking into the photo are distracting. |

Definitely meets the challenge and exhibits proper bokeh. The subject matter leaves me wanting (not because it's a flower - I have nothing against flowers - it just lacks a "wow" factor for me). Good luck! |

the background is great for "bokeh", but I found the lighting is a bit too hot on the main subject. |

This is a nice image. Kind of wish you had either included more of the top daisies (cut off), or eliminated them by cropping this down a bit. The bokeh might pop a little more with some levels and contrast adjustments. Also looking over-exposed on the whites for the subject daisy.
Close, just not quite there. Good luck with the challenge. |
