a nice idea, but, it's a very flat image. the tape is almost indistinguishable from the floor. i would like to see this in color. |

It's a good concept, but I think you could have done a couple things to make this a little stronger. The image is overall very flat from a lighting standpoint. There's not a lot of contrast. I might have tried inching the camera up a little bit, and eliminating the very end of the board. And it might have been cool to have the first couple numbers in focus, leading to a fuzzy background, rather than having a couple random numbers in focus. Again, it's a nice idea -- you might toy with this concept a little more :) |

This could have worked really well with a bit more depth of field. |

Try a little contrast. Nice idea. |

very nice idea. would be stronger if the focus and quality(seems grainy/bitmappy, and lacks contrast) were better. |

Good idea, but seems a tad out of focus to me. Black and white is a good choice, but could definately use some tweaking on the contrast to make things pop a bit more. |

Ah...the old depth of field test eh...I think that in B&W the measure is lost a bit, I guess it would have been yellow on a fantastic wood grain |

The tape almost disappears in this image lacking much needed contrast. It's also very grainy and unsharp. Was the camera sitting on the floor? Maby turning on the lights would have helped? The end of tape was probably too close to the lens to get good focus. Or your DOF was shooting for further on the tape. The blurry front distracts from the rest of the image. The perspective and point of view are interesting. |

this might really have worked if the contrasts and light and focus were better |

Great idea. The photo is a little noisey. Perhaps needs to be sharper in the foreground. Good luck. |
