 This is Ozzie. I adopted him from the humane society a couple of weeks ago. It has been so hard not sharing about him in the forums, but I wanted to wait and debut him in a challenge.

Set up:
printed photo of castle and stood it up against the pen outside for the guinea pig. Kept Ozzie in place by feeding him dandelion greens. Had about 2 feet of distance between him and the background photo. I laid on the ground and shot from his level.

Problems:
1st: I dropped the 20D with the 70-200 L lens on it from 3 feet up inside the house. UGH!! It landed straight down on the lens. Thank goodness nothing broke!
2nd: got bitten by ants, black flies, and mosquitos while laying in the grass
3rd: Ozzie kept trying to squirm out of the robe

Lighting was natural daylight on an overcast day.

Shot in RAW and converted to JPEG - bumped the contrast a tad, brought the brightness down a touch, and applied slight curve

Cute indeed! Didn't leave a comment before 'coz I thought this was one of those "given".. just goes to show what I know about voters. Anyway for what it's worth, I gave it a 7 and thought it was a cool and rather comical idea. (did wonder how you got that castle in the background LOL)

I think this is a great image. Nice bright colors. Focus is perfect. I love the blades of grass that are close out of focus as you have done here. The title and the robe he is wearing was a great choice as well. The only thing I don't like it the whiskers on the right. They are cut off.
