Again, apologies for the delay
I like how you have the one flower peering right out at you; this seems to give it some "character". The composition works well with the flowers on the left hand side, and the supporting bokeh on the right, Also, the bokeh matches well with the positioning of the 3 main flowers, and the just-visible background stem echos the stem of the main lilies.
I guess there are SO many flower shots around that it doesn't jump out at you, and I don't really think it would have scored much beyond 5.5 even though it is compositionally etc very good - it just doesnt have enough of the punch/originality/whatever that flowers need to do well here (especially alongside >400 entries!)
more typos!

hello again,
i like this one alot. it is terribly difficult to please a lot of people photographing white flowers. i can never get it to look white without blowing it out. you have a bit of the blowout..... but it does not take away from the actual photo in my opinion. this is a really nice photo. well done

Trading Post.
I like this photo's use of bokeh. Very effective IMHO. On the otherhand, I thought a couple of the white petals were a bit washed out. This is not my favorite of your work by a long shot. I gave it a 5 because it seemed average to me. |

Trading Post - I did not vote in this challenge but probabaly would have gone with a 5. You definitley met the challenge with the background bokeh but the pic as a whole does not seem to stand out. Not much color going and with the white flower I think it could have used some more green standing out to frame it in better. Possibly isolating 3 flower heads totally in the shot rather than have a couple of them leaving the frame could have helped with the overall composition. Again - not a bad shot, just not a standout either. |

Trading post...
Wow, I read your last comment in your photo's notes and thought you were talking about me, LOL. I thought, "Now how did she know?". Back to your picture... Beautiful flower shot! It's a shame we all got shot down on these. Your bokeh is excellent. |

This is one of the prettiest bokeh flowers in the bunch. I love how you were able to achieve the points of light in that elegant dark background! The flower is razor sharp. This is beautiful! |
